While I`m definitely a novice gardener, my mom teaches me more each year. Hopefully my children will learn a thing or two along the way also.

Open shelving has pros and cons like most design decisions. My advice to clients is moderation. If you love open shelving, absolutely go for it. However, consider how many things you`d like on display and how many sippy cups and Tupperware you`d like to hide behind cupboard doors.
